Sake brewing at Kuge Honten is meticulously conducted by our Toji, Mr. Matsuno, and our manufacturing section chief, Mr. Murakami.
Toji, Mr. Matsuno is from Yokohama City, but has luck would have it he joined Kuge Honten and is now living in Usuki City with his family. He is able to provide our customers with high-quality sake thanks to his ingenuity and zeal.
Mr. Murakami is originally from Beppu, however due to his passion for sake brewing he decided to pursue his career here at Kuge Honten, so he relocated to Usuki City. His fantastic balanced approach and great sense of humour enables Mr. Murakami to support the sake brewing team.
