The origin of our shochu’s name, Tsunezo

The 13th head of the Kuge family, Tsunezo Kuge (1877-1954, pictured), renamed our flagship sake Ichinoide, he incorporated Kuge Honten, and under his leadership the family business really began to flourish. In 2002, in honour of his name, we renamed our flagship shochu - Tsunezo.
